Delight (1 month old today!)

Dylan has been smiling in the mornings the past two days. Not the "gassy, I am full and content smile," but the "I am happy to see you and I love you smile." Today each member of the family got a turn to hold him and see a pinky gummed smile. It's fun to watch each one of my girls interact with Dylan. Haley laughs at him, talks to him like he's a good friend she's had for years, thinks he is teasing her when he grabs her hair, and gives a play-by-play of what she thinks he is trying to say. Maleia has to get within centimeters of his face and talk to him in a high pitched voice while moving her head back and forth. When she says, "Dylan" it sounds more like "Doin'." He has been sleeping a little more at night, is a little more content during the day, and I am getting a little big more used to having three children.
