Double time! Work it!

I have been putting it off. (sigh) I thought I could do without it for a while. I thought I was above the work and hassle of it all. But alas, I am not exempt in the weight gain department. I was loosing weight so great for a while after having Dylan, then (duh-duh-duh) the holidays came. (scream!) I must say that I have not been subject to the holiday weight gain in the past (minus when I was prego) so I didn't know what a big deal it was until this year. So I started my regime: working out at the neighborhood workout center very slowly and have done a few things at home, but I really need to hit it hardcore ASAP. . . after my trip to Disney. (Does that sound like your typical procrastinator or what?)

I have a happy baby. Darn it. I say this because with my girls I would put them on my legs and do crunches with them sitting on my legs until they would get tired of it. They didn't like being on their bellies, so they lasted about 5 minutes. Phew! Good 5 min. workout! Plus I could count it as tummy time. But Dylan could stay here forever, so after 15 minutes (and a few pictures), I gave up. He liked it more than I did for sure. He might help me loose those extra pounds sooner than I thought because I am laughing and doing crunches at the same time. Double time!

  2. Just for the record... We just got your Christmas card. I was showing it to my husband and was saying "Can you belive she has 3 kids?!?". We both agree that you look amazing so I wouldn't worry about having to do too many crunches :)

  3. I say that chasing around three kids counts as a work out! And I agree that you DO look amazing so no need to feel guilty for putting off the work out. Maybe I'm just saying that to make me feel better. I tell Brock while I'm pregnant, "as soon as the baby comes I'm going to work out and be in the best shape ever"...I don't think I even own a pair of running shoes.

  5. Matt said to me the other day, "The Chapman's baby is SO cute." So I had to come look at your blog. And it's true! I was doing some exercises like that with Matthew the other night.
