Easter Blessings

Chapman Family Easter Posers

We have found that Dylan is happiest when he gets kisses.

Surprisingly enough, Haley took this picture of all of the adults at our Easter Dinner. Good job honney! It's amazing that we can even fit this many people in our little home, but we made it work. Instead of having the traditional Ham, we decided to have Filet Minon due to a great deal that Brandon got on the meat. As always, there was a ton of food. Another Easter Blessing. Notice a few things: Nathan's pants have the evidence of Maleia's spill #3 (bottom left man.) It was a Berry Orange Julius and poor Maleia was just extra clumsy today. Notice: There is a man missing who is gone to Iraq. Our hearts go out to you. Notice: No kids in pic. It's pretty rare to catch a picture without them. We went around and told some of our memorable Easter stories, then we had an Easter lesson that told the true Easter story with plastic eggs filled with a scripture and an item that resembles that scripture. Then, of course, we played other games that were pretty funny.

  1. What a darling family! I love the girls matching outfits. Maybe I should do similar shirts in different colors like you did, then they aren't completely the same. So cute! I love Dylan's plaid pants, what a hunk!

  5. We totally had a blast! FYI-the missing man is not in Iraq, he is safe in training somewhere in an undisclosed location, but not overseas. Our hearts still go out to him. :)

  7. Happy Easter! What a beautiful family...let's get together in Utah. I should be there around the middle of May... FOR GOOD!

P.S. You're all so brave to wear white. But it's so pretty.

  8. Those little striped pants on Dylan are adorable!!! I'm too cheap to buy my kids nice clothes. They'd just ruin them in 5 minutes if I did anyways. Glad you had a nice Easter! Wish I could have been there.

  9. Oh, I love all the Easter pics! Everyone looks so good! I like the scripture in the egg thing you guys did. That is a really good idea! Glad you guys had a great Easter. It's inspiring me to post some of our own...eventually! I'm actually going out to Utah in April for conference and in May with Bella for my cousin's wedding. We are probably going as a family in August. Are you guys headed out there?
