Take care

This just spoke to me today. There are circumstances in life that you just can't dwell on for too long otherwise you get consumed in them. There are a few people in my life that I have been thinking (and worrying) about lately and for some reason I needed this right now. You can't choose how someone else will act, but you can choose how you react. There is someone dear to me that has had the short end of every sentence above and it truly makes me sad about how this person reacts to them all. Don't we all experience them at one time or the other?

I have people say to me lately, "take care!" So when people say, "take care" what do they mean? I have found when I dwell on people around me, they get taken care of and somehow I get taken care of too. I have found when I dwell on myself, I get taken care of, but not those around me. I have found that when I teach those around me to dwell on those around them, they all take care of each other. I have found when I dwell on God, everyone gets taken care of because I learn to live by his principles. His principles include "feed my sheep" and "love one another" and "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them." So when people say, "take care" what do they mean? To me it means "take care of everyone around you and you will be taken care of."

Take care and know that this life is between you and our Heavenly Father. No one else. Don't let anything or anyone get in your way. He loves you and He wants you to be happy. There is so much sadness around us. Deal with it, but don't let it affect your true happiness. If you need more true happiness, He can help. Pray and read the scriptures. So basic. So wonderful. Turn to Him. Where do you turn when the turns in life are too much?
