Team Yeti!

So I have been playing soccer on a co-ed team and it has been so fun! I can tell you, babies put a toll on your body and slow you down some. It's definitely not that I'm getting older or anything. Blame the babies...

Super action shot #1.

Super action shot #2.

The team's mascots. My favorite was that Maleia found out the first game that the refs would blow their whistle at her if she crossed the white line. After the game she would still wait behind the white line until I told her it was okay to cross. :)

Behind the scenes . Believe me. I know how hard it is to bring 3 needy kids with minuscule attention spans during dinner time to a game they know nothing about. Loved the support... they never missed a game. Thanks babe!

Getting to know this crew has been pretty sweet!

Anyway, it's been a blast and since I have no idea when the next time I will be playing an organized sport, tonight was pretty special to me. We DID win 3-2, so that added to the "awesomeness" of the night. Go Yeti! (Yes our team name. I have no idea who came up with it, but I bet Saunders had something to do with it.) :)

(Here's a few pics of what a Yeti is supposed to look like. Think: Abominable Snowman. Which one is true to form? Notice a resemblance of the 1st team pic with the second Yeti pic?)

  1. Those were some fabulous action shots! They must have been very action packed games. :) Looks like you had a lot of fun. I'm sorry you are having to quit for good this time, but maybe they play soccer in Hungary?

  2. Soccer is HUGE in Hungary, but I'm not so sure about women playing soccer. For some reason I don't think they have Title 9 there. :)

  4. GO MO!!

I love the "super action" shots, cracked me up.

I think that picture of the girls kissing Dylan needs to be framed and displayed. Perfection.

What is happening on the 5th? Anything? And where is that recipe??

    still hungry...

    Love you!

  5. There will be sports for you to play somewhere. We all know you'd die if there wasn't. ;)

  6. No ladies' soccer in Hungary? What kind of backwoods country are you moving to?! No worries, knowing you, you'll create one! =D

  7. I think it's so awesome you have kept up your sports so well. I have not, and I miss it. And I do agree that having babies (and age of course) takes a toll on your body. I have noticed recently as I've been working out.
