We have had these sightings lately. Do they NOT make pants for kids with little bums? She has sprouted legs, so she is in 4T, but they just fall off of her. Even with a belt and even with the adjustable waist.
This just CRACKS me up!
P.S. This is Maleia's take on the Swine Flu:
"It's bad to throw up, but when I'm sick, I want to be sick with the Piggy Foo. Please, mommy?"
And then B chimes in with a good one, "I pitty the foo who get's the Piggy Foo."
I married him for his humor. :)

That's just wrong. Trust me, my kids DO have booties, and still those stinkin' pants fall down! Of course, I personally don't sneak around taking photos of butt crack, but hey, that's just me.
ReplyDeleteLol... wow this just makes me miss you guys even more =)
ReplyDeleteI think it's more that they don't make the rise on toddler jeans high enough. What 3/4 year old needs low rise jeans. We have that problem at our house. :D
ReplyDeleteI remember the eternal crack. Nona had it pretty bad.
ReplyDeleteOh...the piggy foo. too cute!
We totally have the same problem. I am always trying to fix their pants, even a belt doesn't help! I don't know why they make them so low!
ReplyDeleteGigi's the same way. She's gonna be a plumber when she grows up.
ReplyDeleteI just make my kids wear pants with their ankles showing :p
ReplyDeleteHonestly though, I buy pants with adjustable waist bands and pretty much pull the elastic to the ends. It looks a little funny, but that's the only way to keep pants up! I agree with Crystal tho, I have bought jeans for Mada that were "fashionable" but completely unreasonable for a little girl. But that's the clearance section for you.
So funny! I see ALL KINDS of cracks at my house. Joe has some sort of disorder where his hips and butt are allergic to pants (you have known him forever, don't tell me you have never seen it) and he passed that trait onto our kids.
ReplyDeleteI was joking with Ann Marie yesterday while outside watching our kids run wild. Joe Joe's pants were taking a dive off his cute butt, but his onesie kept his crack hidden. "Eureka! I just need to get Joe man-onesies!!"
I got a nice, "haha, you are SOOO funny" comment from Joe when I told him I had discovered the solution to his crack problem. I'd do it, too!
This is hilarious (also super funny to read all the comments about mom with similar problems!)
ReplyDeleteI love the man-onesies solution! ;-)
