Maleia's b-day party

Maleia Monique Chapman is now 4 years old. What an accomplishment. We were worried we were going to loose her a few times... literally, but her mischievous ways are just what make Maleia who she is. I'm sure she'll get lost a few more million times, but we know that our family would be lost without her. She brings an amazing spirit into our home. If you haven't had the privilege of getting a squeezer hug from her, you are missing out. My favorite is when she will randomly say "I love you" at several intervals during the day.

This year she asked for an Oreo pie, so for the family party on her actually birthday, we made her favorite pie. I think we all devoured it in 5 seconds flat.

She has been wanting a Pocahontas Barbie for MONTHS and I told her she would have to wait until Christmas, so this was a total surprise for her. She even said, "Haley you can have the one I am getting for Christmas." How sweet.

I tried to get a picture of her right before her party, and she was being so silly.

She would not let go of her new plush piggie that we got her and her pig balloon for one second. Even to blow out her candles.

I am no cake genius, but this was fun to create with the kiddos. They "helped" a lot.

I had to add this picture of Dylan and his best friend Scarlett. It truly amazes me how long they can play together without so much as a whimper of injustice or fighting. She calls him "D" and he calls her "Cawett." sigh. I just wish they could grow up together.

Before I knew it, they were opening presents (guests included) and I couldn't keep track of who gave what, but she was thrilled with everything she received from her amazing friends. That big one is an easel that they play with on a daily basis. Really.

A Chapman birthday party can't be complete without a pinata. Maleia held this pinata pig under her arm for a whole day and even named it pinky, so I was a little worried when it came time to slaughter it. But she was first in line and even gave it a few extra strong whacks.

Her adorable fellow farmer friends.

Getting dirty on the farm. Plantin' new crops maybe? Maleia's Farm Party was a huge success and though I had 6 activities planned and we only did 3 of them, I had to let go and just let them run around like the wild monkeys that they are and just let them play.

My cute farmer girl. You can barely tell that she cut her bangs a couple weeks ago... almost.

2 cute sisters. Haley would do anything for Maleia. She is first to her rescue when she is sad. She is usually the first one to find her when she wanders away and has been known to even put her sister's wishes before her own. What great friends they are already!!

All in all, this girl is the one that gives more love than anyone I know. And we love her so much! Here is to another year!
