Little Ariel
Little Mousy. He did NOT like getting "skuz" on his cheeks. He kept telling me, "I have dirty face mom. Wipe it off!"
My two favorite students. shhh! Don't tell!
(He doesn't go anywhere without a train.)
My festive class in front of my measly decorated door. The Hungarians don't celebrate it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
I caught them!
What are the odds that I would have 2 mice in my class?
Happy Halloween!
Dylan didn't want anything to do with any more pictures can you tell? There is a Hungarian boy in my class who didn't know what Halloween was, but after we practiced trick or treating, he was hooked!
Haley's School Party and Parade Friday 10-30(He doesn't go anywhere without a train.)

Haley wanted a turn to be a kitty. And actually, she and all the rest of the girls in the class coordinated costumes. They would all be witches or cats.
The girl on the end didn't get the memo.
The boys tried to coordinate as well, but a few didn't even want to dress up. The handsome boy in glasses in front is Haley's good friend Adam who I also coach in soccer. He calls her, "His best girl" and has a Scottish accent. Forget Haley, I want to take him home!
Mrow! The whole Elementary had a parade and a performance. Haley did a great rendition of "A Spooky Halloween."
Trunk or Treat Friday 10-30
(I do not have pictures of this!!)
We came home from the Trunk or Treat so that we can host a Trick or Treat for the Embassy Community on our compound. Since we have the largest concentration of Americans, we were asked to host.
Why not?

Embassy Halloween Party Saturday, 10-31
Our last and final torture... I mean, costume. (B's only one for the record.) We planned this get up a few months ago when Maleia and Haley had the fabulous idea of being the 3 little pigs. . . until the costumes came in the mail and Haley was a little embarrassed by the nose and the tail. B thought the get up was cool since he only had to wear a mask and all brown. He lasted one hour. Can you tell how much Dylan loved the costume? He lasted one minute.
There were games, snacks, and a haunted house. Note to self: Do NOT bring kids into even a "G Rated" haunted house. They weren't really scared, but alarmed with all the noises and stuff, but Dylan freaked out when someone screamed. We went turbo speed through it after that. All in all, it was a great holiday, but then again, what are we celebrating again? Oh yea. Candy. Not my favorite holiday, but who am I to pass on free candy?

Wow that was like 16 costumes total! I didn't really count, that's just a guess. Looks fun and busy!
ReplyDeleteFor a country where they don't celebrate Halloween, man, you sure CELEBRATED HALLOWEEN big time! And thanks for setting unrealistic expectations for my kids, who will now think they need like 5 costumes a piece!
ReplyDeleteThose kids are cute as ever!!
That is like right up your alley. To me it sounds EXHAUSTING! Your nailed it though, they all look great! Sounds sooooo busy but fun too. Just wait till you have another baby...knowing you though it will just be a walk in the park. Bring on the parties!:) How fun.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a lot of very creative costume changes for a lot of parties. You should have dressed up as Super Mom...oh wait, that's your every day attire. haha.
