When I was little

Haley has learned that she can't communicate with me very well while I am on the phone, so she will get the doodle pro or a scratch piece of paper to write to me what she wants. The only thing is, sometimes I can't quite decipher what she is trying to say, so it becomes an even bigger ordeal to try to express what she wants. So I get these post-it notes everywhere around the house. Today, while I was making lunch, she wrote to me a story about what she learned when she was little. Come to find out, Haley is no longer little because she is writing letters, notes, and reading!! Though, I am so happy for her to enjoy learning, I feel a tad sad that she is growing up WAY too fast.

When I was little:
Heart 1- I learned not to pull my sister's hair
Heart 2- I learned not to smother Dylan
Heart 3- I learned not to kiss Dylan's eye
Heart 4- I learned not to draw on the wall
Heart 5- I learned not to go pee pee in my pull up

  1. I think I missed a few of those lessons as a child...oh well it's too late now. I will just keep trying to smother craig.

  2. What a great idea! If only Katelyn could write... I would actually be able to have a conversation over the phone. I love the way she spells her words! She is so smart
